Viewbox is intended for radiology trainees, doctors, and medical professionals who are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract.

Access is granted by manual approval. You register with your details and WhatsApp number, and an administrator approves your account after verifying your membership of our WhatsApp community. We may approve, reject, suspend, or later revoke access at our discretion and without giving reasons.

You must provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential. One person, one account. You may not create an account for someone else, register again after being rejected or removed, or transfer your account to anyone.

Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We may sign out all sessions, require a password reset, or restrict an account that shows signs of sharing or compromise.

To protect exams and paid content, we may check where and how an account signs in, limit the number of devices or sessions, and refuse connections that come through VPNs, proxies, or anonymising services. These checks can occasionally affect a legitimate user; if that happens to you, contact us and we will help.

When you use Viewbox, you agree that you will not:

• Share your account, or let anyone else take an exam or use the Service on your behalf;
• Copy, record, screenshot, download in bulk, redistribute, sell, or publish exam questions, model answers, calculators, or library content outside the Service, whether from the free library or from a paid plan;
• Cheat, manipulate timers, tamper with scoring, or attempt to reveal model answers before they are released;
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any daily allowance, plan restriction, paywall, rate limit, or security measure;
• Scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, decompile, or use automated tools, scripts, or bots to access the Service or its data;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, admin functions, servers, or data, or probe or test the Service for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
• Upload unlawful, infringing, offensive, misleading, or patient-identifiable content;
• Post false, misleading, or discriminatory job, fellowship, or event listings, or use the Service to send unsolicited messages;
• Harass, impersonate, or harm other users, including through connections, study rooms, or hosted exams; or
• Use the Service in any way that breaches applicable law, these Terms, or the rights of others.

We may investigate suspected breaches, remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, forfeit credits or paid access, and report serious matters to the authorities.

If you submit images or cases to the library, you are solely responsible for ensuring they contain no patient-identifiable information. You must remove or anonymise all protected health information (PHI), including names, IDs, dates of birth, facial features where relevant, and identifying DICOM metadata, before uploading.

You confirm you have the right to share each image and that doing so does not breach any patient confidentiality, hospital policy, or law.

All images and spotters on Viewbox are shared strictly for teaching, self-assessment, and educational purposes only, and never for diagnosis or clinical decision-making. Some spotters are reproduced from open-access publications under their Creative Commons licences, with the attribution and licence shown alongside the spotter; others are contributed by our community and reviewed before publication. A Creative Commons licence on a source image covers that image only. Our model answers, descriptions, selection, arrangement, and teaching material around it are Viewbox content and are not licensed for reuse.

We respect intellectual property and patient privacy. If you believe any spotter infringes your copyright, contains identifiable patient information, or should not be shown for any reason, report it to us with the spotter ID (shown on each spotter via “Copy ID” or the report option, and included in the app) using the contact details at the end of this policy. We will review every report and, where appropriate, promptly remove the content. Knowingly false reports are a breach of these Terms.

You retain ownership of cases, answers, listings, and messages you submit. By submitting content, you grant Viewbox a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, edit, translate, and use it to operate, promote, and improve the Service and its teaching library, in any format and on any plan, including after your account closes. You waive any right to be identified as the author where you have chosen to submit anonymously or where we present content without attribution.

You are responsible for your submissions and warrant that they are accurate to the best of your knowledge, do not infringe anyone’s rights, and comply with Section 4. We may review, edit, anonymise, moderate, reject, or remove any content at our discretion, and we are not obliged to publish anything. Credits awarded for contributions have no cash value and may be adjusted or withdrawn if content is removed or was submitted in breach of these Terms.

You may ask us to remove a case you submitted. We will remove it from the library within a reasonable time, but copies may remain in exams, practice sessions, and backups where removal is not practicable.

Each exam may be taken once. Timing is enforced by our servers; answers submitted after the time limit may be recorded as expired. Grading is performed by administrators or by the host of an exam, is a matter of academic judgement, and is final. Leaderboard rankings are provided for motivation, may show your name to other participants unless you choose to appear anonymously, and may be recalculated or corrected.

Members may host their own exams and invite others. The host is responsible for the content of a hosted exam, for its grading, and for how they use the results. Viewbox provides the platform and is not a party to any arrangement between a host and a participant. Scores and rankings on Viewbox are not qualifications, certificates, or assessments of fitness to practise.

Joining Viewbox is free for approved members. A free account includes the community teaching library with a daily allowance of spotters, core practice features, and may show advertising. Paid plans unlock additional features, which may include the paid library, unlimited library access, custom practice sessions, and other features described at the time you subscribe. The features in each plan, the daily allowance, and the content in each library may change as the Service develops; we will not remove a feature you have paid for during the period you paid for without offering a reasonable alternative.

Paid plans are bought on the website, where the fee, the included features, and the duration are shown before you pay, or arranged directly with the Viewbox team. Fees are payable in Indian Rupees. Online payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not see or store your card, UPI, or bank details. Plans do not renew automatically; access ends when the period is over, and you may buy or arrange a further period. We may change prices for future periods at any time.

Paid content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial study for the duration of your plan. It remains ours, and your licence ends when the plan ends or your account is terminated.

Credits, ad-free days, and promotional offers have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and may be changed or withdrawn. All payments, cancellations, and the absence of refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

RadOpus lets members post and find jobs, fellowships, courses, and events. A listing is the poster’s own content. We review listings before they appear but do not verify the identity of the poster, the existence of the opportunity, or the accuracy of what it says. Viewbox is not an employer, recruiter, agent, or party to any application, contract, or payment between a poster and an applicant.

Before applying, paying any fee, or sharing documents, verify the opportunity yourself. Never pay anyone to apply through Viewbox. Report a listing that looks wrong using the report option, and we will review it.

A poster may pay to promote a listing. A promotion is a paid placement for a stated period and is not an endorsement. The fee is payable before the promotion starts and is non-refundable once it has started, including where we remove the listing because it breaches these Terms or the law. We may decline or end a promotion and, where we end it for reasons other than a breach, we will refund the unused part or offer equivalent placement.

Free accounts may be shown advertising from third-party networks on the website and in the app. Advertisements are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for the content of an advertiser’s site or product. Members may remove advertising for a period by spending credits or by subscribing to a plan that includes an ad-free experience.

The Service, including its design, software, branding, calculators, model answers, descriptions, the selection and arrangement of the library, and all Viewbox-created content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other laws of India and elsewhere.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Service and view its content for your own non-commercial education. Except for content you submit, you may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our written permission. Any rights not expressly granted are reserved.

The names Viewbox and The Viewbox and the Viewbox mark are our trade marks and may not be used without our written permission.

Viewbox is a teaching and self-assessment platform for radiology trainees and professionals. All spotters, model answers, scores, calculators, and library cases are provided for education and practice only.

Nothing on Viewbox is intended for clinical diagnosis, patient management, or any real-world medical decision. Model answers reflect the opinion of the contributing educator and may contain errors. Calculators and scores implement published formulas and may not suit every patient or setting. Always rely on qualified clinical judgement and primary sources for patient care. You use any educational content at your own risk.

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free access, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, including features in a paid plan, subject to Section 7.

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, create risk or legal exposure for us, or where required by law. If we terminate for breach, any paid access ends immediately and no refund is due. You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time from your settings.

On termination, your licence to use the Service ends, and we may delete or anonymise your content and data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive, including Sections 5, 10, 13, 14, and 15, survive termination.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that using Viewbox will improve your results in any examination or assessment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viewbox, its founder, team, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of opportunity, or for any loss arising from your reliance on educational content, from content posted by other members, from an opportunity listed on RadOpus, or from inability to access the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to Viewbox in that period and INR 1,000.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Indian law, including your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

You agree to indemnify and hold Viewbox, its founder, and its team harmless from all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms or of any law, or your infringement of anyone’s rights, including any claim relating to patient-identifiable information you upload or a listing you post.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or the Service are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If you have a complaint, contact us first using the details below and give us 30 days to resolve it in good faith. Subject to that, the courts in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing in this section prevents you from using the consumer dispute mechanisms available to you under Indian law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, record the change on our Policy Updates page, and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service and delete your account.

These Terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and Viewbox about the Service. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours to a successor of the Service. Notices to you may be given by email to the address on your account or within the Service.
