Viewbox is intended for radiology trainees, doctors, and medical professionals who are at least 18 years old.

Access is granted by manual approval. You register with your details and WhatsApp number, and an administrator approves your account after verifying your membership of our WhatsApp community. We may approve, reject, or later revoke access at our discretion.

You must provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential. One person, one account.

When you use Viewbox, you agree that you will not:

• Share your account, or let anyone else take an exam or use the Service on your behalf;
• Copy, record, screenshot, redistribute, or publish exam questions, model answers, or library content outside the Service;
• Cheat, manipulate timers, tamper with scoring, or attempt to reveal model answers before they are released;
• Scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, or use automated tools to access the Service or its data;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, admin functions, servers, or data;
• Upload unlawful, infringing, offensive, or misleading content; or
• Use the Service in any way that breaches applicable law or these Terms.

If you submit images or cases to the library, you are solely responsible for ensuring they contain no patient-identifiable information. You must remove or anonymise all protected health information (PHI) — including names, IDs, dates of birth, and identifying DICOM metadata — before uploading.

You confirm you have the right to share each image and that doing so does not breach any patient confidentiality, hospital policy, or law.

All images and spotters on Viewbox are shared strictly for teaching, self-assessment, and educational purposes only, and never for diagnosis or clinical decision-making. Some spotters are sourced from publicly available teaching materials and case collections; others are contributed by our community and reviewed before publication.

We respect intellectual property and patient privacy. If you believe any spotter infringes your copyright, contains identifiable patient information, or should not be shown for any reason, report it to us with the spotter ID (shown on each spotter via “Copy ID” or the report option, and included in the app) using the contact details at the end of this policy. We will review every report and, where appropriate, promptly remove the content.

You retain ownership of cases and answers you submit. By submitting content, you grant Viewbox a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use it to operate and improve the Service and its teaching library.

You are responsible for your submissions and warrant that they are accurate to the best of your knowledge, do not infringe anyone’s rights, and comply with Section 3. We may review, edit, moderate, reject, or remove any content at our discretion. Credits awarded for contributions have no cash value and may be adjusted if content is removed.

Each exam may be taken once. Timing is enforced by our servers; answers submitted after the time limit may be recorded as expired. Grading is performed by administrators and is final and at their discretion. Leaderboard rankings are provided for motivation and may be recalculated or corrected.

Joining Viewbox and using the community teaching library and core practice features is free for approved members. An optional "Pro" upgrade unlocks certain additional features. Pro is arranged directly with the Viewbox team — any applicable fee, the included features, and the duration are confirmed with you before it starts. Pro does not renew automatically; it simply ends when the period is over, and you may arrange to continue if you wish.

All payments, cancellations, and the absence of refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

The Service, including its design, software, branding, and Viewbox-created content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. Except for content you submit, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Viewbox is a teaching and self-assessment platform for radiology trainees and professionals. All spotters, model answers, scores, and library cases are provided for education and practice only.

Nothing on Viewbox is intended for clinical diagnosis, patient management, or any real-world medical decision. Model answers reflect the opinion of the contributing educator and may contain errors. Always rely on qualified clinical judgement and primary sources for patient care.

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or where required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viewbox and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on educational content, loss of data, or inability to access the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Viewbox harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms — including any claim relating to patient-identifiable information you upload.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
